Chairman

Prof. Dr. T. James Wilson received his BE Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mysore University, MBA from Anna University of Technology and PhD from Cosmopolitan University USA. He is an honorary member of Institute of Marine Technology and Life Member of ISTE. After his graduation he joined Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation as Engineer for one year and soon after moved to SCI Mumbai as Jr. Marine Engineer for 3 years. Prior to this, he passed Class-I, COC conducted by MMD Chennai (Govt. of India). Dr. James had taken the challenging role as Chief Engineer of WSM Hong Kong and made remarkable contributions for 7 years and later he was chosen as Senior Chief Engineer by Dynacom Tankers, Greece considering his experience, elegance, exactitude and contributions in Marine Industry. Post retirement he started his services in Education segment in the role of Dean and HOD (Marine Technology) in PSN College of Engineering and Technology. Prof. James has capably held a number of leadership roles towards the development and welfare of the society as Charter President, District, Zone & Region Chairs in Lions Club. His services being Executive member of St. Xaviers Catholic College of Engineering were instrumental towards its vertical growth both in academics and infrastructure. Earlier, he led Community College being Executive founder and he was the Vice President of VPBF Association.

Presently, Dr. James holds several coveted positions, adding new feathers in his cap responsible for driving growth and segregation across portfolios, as Chairman of Marthandam College of Engineering & Technology, President of Marthandam Educational and Charitable Trust, Chairman of Sigma Group, Managing Director of Sigma Finance and Investments, Director of Sigma Hospital, President of Sigma Educational and Charitable Trust, Chairman of Sigma College of Architecture and Charter President of Rotary Club.

Prof. Dr. James is known for his humility and privileged to get honored for his philanthropy services and accolades for his legendary efforts. Success story and prominence of Dr. James evidently demonstrates how fortitude and firmness when united with knowledge, lucid vision and right planning made possible to arrive at the crest of victory. A straight forward person, an absolute workaholic and according to him work is the only way to accomplishment and endurance in a competitive milieu.
